The traditional packaging industry should quickly transition to green packaging
in the new century, when people buy a wide range of goods, they will see many more convenient, safer and diverse packaging, and more importantly, the coats of these goods will no longer bring pollution to the environment, which is the "green packaging" that will lead the packaging trend in the new century. This is also the most talked about and warmest topic in the packaging industry at the Symposium "how Chinese packaging enterprises face the challenges and opportunities of China's entry into the WTO in 2001" held recently in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province
the so-called "green packaging" refers to the packaging that is harmless to the ecological environment and human health, can be recycled and recycled, and can promote sustainable development. Therefore, the developed countries in the world have determined that the packaging should comply with the principle of "4r+1d" that is, low consumption, development of new green materials, reuse, recycling and degradability
experts pointed out that in the next 10 years, "green products" will dominate the world market. "Green products" undoubtedly need "green packaging". Actively researching and developing "green packaging" is an inevitable choice for China's packaging industry in the new century in the face of China's entry into WTO
on the one hand, environmental protection has increasingly become the fundamental focus for countries to implement economic sustainable development strategies. As the basic industry of packaging material production, paper industry is one of the industries with heavy pollution, and these traditional industries will continue to develop vigorously in the next 20 years. On the other hand, in order to protect their own markets, western developed countries use their advanced technology and environmental advantages to implement the so-called "green mark" and create one of the largest non-tariff trade barriers, namely "green trade barriers". If there are no products with green marks, some developed countries will refuse to import, and may not give preferential prices and tariffs. After China's entry into WTO, although China will have an all-round multilateral trade environment, if packaging does not follow up, it will restrict the development of foreign trade exports and make it more difficult for our products to go to the international market
industry authorities believe that at present, the research and development of "green packaging" in China's packaging industry should strengthen the following aspects:
first, accelerate technological innovation and develop new packaging materials, new processes and new products, which is also the key to the development of "green packaging". The rapid development of modern science and technology and the increase of water content in product technology pose a threat to the great efforts made by the central government, the SAR government and Hong Kong Society for many years. At the same time, the change of people's consumption concept also poses a further challenge to the use value of packaging products. For example, grain packaging must develop more scientific new packaging materials to replace plastic woven bags
second, we should research and develop diversified "green packaging", and all industries will also maintain stable growth
third, we must establish and improve China's environmental labeling system in strict accordance with international practices, carry out certification from a high starting point, and realize national mutual certification as soon as possible. China tax report
